Going fishing this weekend.?

where i live we have had consistent weather in the 40's for a few weeks. which means ponds that were locked up are now basically thawed. so i have decided im going to hit this small pond because im starting to get cabin fever. last year around this time i caught a 5+ largemouth b just after the ice out on a top water frog. but this was definitely just a fluke. so i hae some worms, but im more of a lure guy. so with water temperatures still Very cold, any lures you guys can recommend for me? i plan on throwing a few jigs and stick baits, but anything else you can think of? the pond i am fishing in is fairly small, and does not get to deep. but should i stick to cover close to shore, or fling it out in the middle? i also have small little ice fishing jigs that i could possibly put a bobber on with a worm for some sunny or pickeral possibly.
