Tail docking a broken tail. She is 6 weeks old, can it be done?

I got a 6 week old Italian Mastiff yesterday. I didn't notice it when i went to see her only because i was excited and picked her up immediately and from there she snuggled and feel asleep in my arms. As i was giving her a bath is when i noticed it. Can i go ahead and have her tail docked at this age? I mean its going to have to be be done. I feel bad and i don't know what happened to it in the first place and i don't care because now she is in a loving home and i will take care of her. Its the Holiday so i can't get her into the vet until next week but i just wanted others opinions. She is a beautiful blue with the pretties blue eyes and she is already spoiled. Thanks in advance
