Doctor patient confidentiality agreement????

I'm a doctor. Since your daughter is under 18, you are her legal gaurdian. In fact, her opinion legally does not count. All decisions will be made by you. All treatment and therapy will be YOUR decision not hers. Even if your daughter is screaming and yelling because she doesn't want to do something or take a med, if you think she should, then she will. Like it or not, this is the medical/legal law. Once your daughter turns 18, then she will need to have a psychiatrist determine if she is competent (psychiatrically speaking) to make decisions for herself. If the psychiatrist says no, then you will continue to make all medical decisions for her.
