Worried about my sister please someone read this?

My sister was tested for cystic fibrosis when she was 4 and they told my mom it was negative and now she is 18 and is getting the test again but she only catches bronchitis once a year which i heard happens to alot of folks but what are the chances it will be positive or will it be negative again
